Grey had a big day on Saturday March first. He not only turned 7 months old but he got invited to his first birthday party. Grey's best friend, Harper Warrell turned one. Grey and Harper had a big day with family and friends as they played with thier toys, crawled around (only backwards for Grey), and ate some cake. Grey enjoyed watching Harper eat her cake and open her gifts until he got a call on his toy cell phone that he just had to take.
It was an exciting fun filled day for all involved.

Greyson Meets Santa
On Thursday December 6th, Greyson had the opportunity to meet Santa for the first time. We ran into Santa while he was at Oxmoor Mall in Louisville and Greyson got his picture made while on Santa's lap. He informed Santa that for Christmas he would like more formula, diapers, and a pickup truck with big snow tires for Daddy. While at the mall we had a coniencidental meeting with Beth Davis. We were able to have dinner with Beth and Josh at CPK. We had a wonderful visit. It was great to see some friends.

Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving we traveled to Blowing Rock, NC for our traditional Thanksgiving trip. Greyson, Molly, Denny, Pat, Charley, and Jacob piled into a rented van and headed for the mountains. We picked up Shelly in Knoxville along the way and met Tony and Norma at the cabin in North Carolina. We had a nice relaxing holiday, but it may be the last trip that we take for a while as it was a little stressful.

Baptism
On November 10, 2008 the family including Grandparents Hazle traveled to Nashville, TN where we met Shelly and Grandparents Haynes. While Greyson visited with his grandmothers; Denny, Tony, Shelly and Jacob attended the UK vs. Vandy football game, where UK overcame poor officiating and were able to come away with a victory. Following the game, everyone met at the hotel and enjoyed some Corky's barbeque and football on the TV. The next morning, Sunday November 11, 2008 Greyson was baptised by Dr. Howard Olds at Brentwood Methodist Church in Brentwood, TN. It was good to see Dr. Olds and his wife and to visit with them.

It May Be Magic After All
Grey wore his lucky, I mean magic, UK sweater this Saturday for the big UK vs. LSU game and it paid off. The Mighty and Benevolent Wildcats were able to dispose of those smelly and disrespectful tigers back to the bayou where they belong with a 43 to 37 beatdown. UK is now 3-0 when Grey is sporting his magic sweater as he did not wear it for the game at South Carolina. Go CATS!

Vacation
Greyson has had alot of activity in the past couple of weeks. First he went to Asheville, NC to meet up with Grandmother and Grandfather Haynes. He really enjoyed seeing his grandparents and enjoyed the mountains, but what he enjoyed the most was being able to watch his beloved Kentucky Wildcats beat the dreaded and just down right ugly Louisville Cardinals. Greyson wore his lucky UK sweater that his Aunt Shelly knitted him and the Cats were able to pull out the big win. After having to say goodbye to his Grandparents, Greyson headed to DC to visit his Aunt Shelly and celebrate the big UK victory. While in DC, Grey was able to meet his friends Jim and Bethany, visit the zoo a couple of times, and also meet Jenny and Nick. It was a great trip to our nation's capital and Grey looks forward to visiting again in the near future. After returning home, Grey donned his lucky sweater for the Cats big game against Arkansas and it paid off again, the Cats won the game. Grey will be sporting the lucky sweater again this Saturday as the Cats play Florida Atlantic, but may not wear it when UK plays LSU as the sweater is lucky, but not magical.
